A portrait of an individual, a couple or a family is really a small time capsule. Time changes everything and because of that, it is important to make photographs of the most important things in our lives - our families and loved ones. 

"I have a very strong commitment to photographing families. I believe it is so important to record the family unit, the relationships between parents and children, siblings and children at different milestones during their life.

"My eldest child tragically died when he was four years old and my camera had broken six months before this. I actually have very few photos of him and none of the last six months of his life. This is why I encourage clients to "do it now - don't wait for their hair to be cut or their teeth to come through".
